Greetings fellow stampers,
Spring is nearly upon us, and I am looking forward to beautiful days of sunshine and flowers. This is my favorite time of the year. It’s finally warm enough again to take Elie and Ransom to the park and to enjoy these lovely spring days.
Hopefully you all have seen the wonderful review of the Close To My Heart® scrapbooking program that was published in Creating Keepsakes magazine this month. This program was designed by D.O.T.S.äartist, designer and CEO, Jeanette Lynton. The article gives a nice overview of 5 of the “ABC’s of Scrapbooking” concepts. The new teaching program that was just released to demonstrators gives more details on those five concepts and also five more concepts that will make your scrapbooking easier and more enjoyable. Host a demo soon to begin learning how you can create beautiful layouts with informative journaling with the ABC’s of Scrapbooking, available only through D.O.T.S.ädemonstrators.
I am beginning to look forward to the D.O.T.S.ä annual convention which will take place the very first weekend of June. I received my enrollment information and convention packet this weekend and it looks like it will be a dynamic convention. The theme is “Leaving a Lasting Legacy”. As a family historian, and as a stamper and scrapbooker, I was hooked by the theme alone! I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us and what I’ll be bringing home to my customers!
One of the highlights of convention is the introduction of the new 2000-2001 D.O.T.S. ™ & Close to My Heart® catalog. I feel like the catalog I have right now is still brand new, and we’re already talking about a newer catalog! Last year I thought that there wasn’t any way that they could improve on the catalog we already had, but I was dazzled when the 1999/2000 catalog was introduced. I’m sure that the excitement and the new art will be equally, if not even more, exiting. I expect the new catalog to be full of great new stamps and accessories, as well as new scrapbooking products. You can obtain a copy of the new catalog as soon as they are available by pre-ordering on the form at the end of this newsletter.
As you know, a stamper who hosts a demonstration in her home receives a free catalog. What if you want your catalog now but don’t want to commit to a workshop date? If you purchase your 2000/2001 catalog now, you
will have the option of selecting any “A” – “N” sized stamp in the catalog instead of a second catalog when you do hostess your demo.
If you still do not own a copy of the 1999/2000 catalog, consider purchasing one now to keep as an idea book and scrapbooking primer. I have reduced the price from $8.95 to $5.00 to encourage you. This catalog can also be ordered on the form at the end of this newsletter.
The list of items to be discontinued from the current catalog is now available!
Great News! Due to the overwhelming requests for the return of our original, clear Memory Protectors™ you may now order either kind! Both are sold in packages of 25. The order numbers are:
4110 Clear Memory Protectors™12”x12” (25) $8.95
